Dr. Voesack

Lawrence W. Voesack, M.D. brings a distinctive component to West Texas Spine as Clinic Physician and Medical Director. Growing up in San Diego, California he realized the importance of enjoying life to the fullest and took complete advantage of the California terrain. He mastered surfing, benefited from bicycling, and took an interest in woodworking. In 1989 Lawrence Voesack graduated from the University of California in San Diego with a BA in Microbiology. And once again Lawrence took advantage of the California coastline. This time he crossed the border. He mastered the language, benefited from the culture, and took an interest in one of his Medical School professors. His first three years of Medical School were completed at Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in Mexico. His fourth year of Medical School was completed in Chicago, Illinois. And in 1995 Larry Voesack returned to the US as Lawrence Voesack, M.D. He spent the post graduate year of training with New York Medical College at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Dr. Voesack served as Chief Resident during his residency for Texas Tech Family Practice in Odessa, Texas. He is board-certified in Family Practice and serves as primary diagnostician to Dr. Ramsey. Dr. Voesack is responsible for the medical and pain management of our spine patients. While the majority of Dr. Ramsey’s time is spent in surgery, Dr. Voesack is available for patients each day in the clinic. This combination of surgical and medical management has allowed West Texas Spine to become the area leader in spine care. We are simply able to provide more treatment options with better results to more people in need.
